Classification of the 2-1-2 System
Structure: Two defenders, one center (middle), two wingers.
The central figure (center) usually stays close to the middle.

  • Das Zentrum soll dominiert werden – keine gefährlichen Pässe oder Laufwege durch die Mitte zulassen.

  • Unterschied zu 2-2-1: 2-1-2 ist mehr auf Verteidigung und Kontrolle ausgelegt als auf Konter.

Objectives of the 3-2 (2-1-2):
